Deposits & Payments
The payment of the deposit, or any partial or full payment for a reservation, shall constitute consent to all provisions stated in this quote & our website. A non-refundable deposit of $300 per person is required at the time of booking to hold your reservation. Specific deposit and payment requirements apply to itineraries, and some of our cruise programs, and this information will be given on request at the time of booking. Final payment is due 45 days prior to departure. Full payment is due at the time of booking for reservations made within 45 days of the date of departure. We accept checks, money orders, Visa, Mastercard, American Express & Discover, and bank wire transfers. For bank wire transfers, an additional $30 USD must be included to cover bank processing fees. Payments received within 21 days of departure must be with Certified or Cashier's check.
For non-US residents, except for initial deposit, payment must be via bank wire transfer, credit card must not be third party & back/front copy is required.
Cancellations & Modifications
A service charge of $50 per booking will apply for each change made after the initial booking request has been confirmed. For cancellations received within 30 days of departure, airlines and other vendors may assess cancellation fees, which will be passed on to you. Once travel has commenced, any changes or cancellation will be at your own expense. Special cancellation and modification policies apply for itineraries including special categories at Four Seasons, St. Regis, cruises, hotels during December holiday period, and some promotional airfares. Information will be given on request at the time of booking.
Travel Protection Plan
Tahiti.com strongly recommends that our clients have a Travel Protection Plan or Travel Insurance when traveling, whether through services offered by Tahiti.com or your own insurance company. On request, our reservations will include a Travel Protection Plan including a Cancellation & Modification Waiver Program with a comprehensive post-departure travel insurance plan provided though Travel Guard, America's leading travel insurance provider. Payment for Tahiti.com's Travel Protection Plan must be made with your deposit.
Protection of Funds
Tahiti.com is registered as a seller of travel with the Attorney General of the State of California pursuant to Section 17550 of the California Business and Professions Code, under registration #2107198-40. Registration as a seller of travel does not constitute approval by the State of California. All customers' deposits and payments are secured in Tahiti.com's trust account.
U.S. and Canadian citizens must have a valid passport valid for six months from travel date. Citizens of other countries should consult the French Consulate. It is solely the passenger's responsibility to ensure that all documents needed are complete and current. International tickets cannot be issued until we receive a copy of the name page of the passenger's passport.
All prices quoted by Tahiti.com are in U.S. dollars and include costs associated with planning, communication and documentation. According to industry standards, package prices are not subject to an itemization of costs. Prices may be subject to change in the event of significant currency fluctuations, the introduction of new taxes, and/or fuel surcharges up until final payment is received. Once final payment is received, all prices will be guaranteed.
Hotel accommodations are based on two people sharing a double-bedded room or bungalow with private facilities. The currently known government room tax and VAT are included. All itineraries include inter-island transportation, round trip hotel transfers, air taxes and baggage handling. Sightseeing and meals are included only as specified for each itinerary. Hotels offer complimentary equipment and activities subject to availability. Tahiti.com reserves the right to change the itinerary sequence and properties when necessary. Air-inclusive packages include airline fuel surcharges. Fuel surcharges are subject to change.
Meals (except where indicated), beverages, laundry, excess baggage charges, and any items of a personal nature, including the cost of passports and visas, are not included. Accommodation city tax of 150cfp for French Polynesia (approximately $1.80) per person, per night, is not included.
The international air fare used in the tour packages featured on our website and for customized vacations is an economy class fare. A high season supplement applies. Severe penalties apply if you cancel after the ticketing deadline date.

Seasonalities vary widely for hotel rates and airfares. All details are not shown. Please ask at time of booking for applicable charges.
Tahiti.com will process refunds for unused accommodations, transfers, tours or other services, provided that requests are accompanied by a signed statement from the service supplier stating that a refund is in order. Refund requests must be received within 30 days of a tour's termination. No refund will be made for accommodations or services used, or for unused days at hotels (unless a refund letter by the hotel is provided), on cruises and yacht charters. Unused meals are not refundable.
Vacation components are contracted by Tahiti.com, 3621 S. Harbor Blvd., Suite 240, Santa Ana, CA 92704 - USA. Tahiti.com its agents and employees, act only as agents for the passenger in regard to travel by road, air, sea or by mode of transportation or local conveyance, and assumes no liability for personal injury, property damage, loss, accident, delay or irregularity incurred by any person or tour participant arising out of the negligence of any direct or supplemental air carrier, hotel or person engaged in conveying the passenger, providing rental cars, or rendering any of the services or accommodations being offered in these tours; nor shall Tahiti.com be responsible for any injuries, death, damages, loss or delay in any means of transportation or by reason of any event beyond the actual control of Tahiti.com. Any such losses or expenses must be borne by the passenger as tour rates provide for arrangements only as stated in the final itinerary. The right is reserved to substitute hotels of similar category or change schedules without prior notice should circumstances so require. In the event of a change in the itinerary necessitated by factors or conditions beyond the actual control of Tahiti.com, such as strikes, political and social unrest, labor problems, climatic aberrations, or any act of God, no refund can be made nor will credit be given, provided that in the event of such change Tahiti.com shall provide accommodations and services of comparable quality and standards as set forth on this website. The right is reserved to decline to accept or to retain any person as a member of a trip, or to cancel a trip in all or part due to circumstances beyond the control of Tahiti.com. Prices quoted are in U.S. dollars and are based upon current tariffs and exchange rates known as of Dec. 20, 2011, and are subject to adjustment without prior notification in the event of changes therein. Any such changes will be passed on to the passenger in all other cases. However, once full payment has been received, quoted prices are guaranteed. Passengers electing to take advantage of sporting equipment offered by the ships, yachts or other hotels, do so at their own risk. Tahiti.com expressly discourages the use of motor scooters or similar powered cycles. Baggage is at owner's risk entirely. The airlines concerned, and their agents and affiliates, are not to be held responsible for any act, omission or event during the time passengers are not on board their aircraft. The passenger ticket in use by said airlines, when issued, shall constitute the sole contract between the airlines and purchaser of these tickets and/or passenger.
